PROTFACTOR™ PRODUCT PREPARATION GUIDE

STEP 1 Using sterile technique, open the outer pouch and place the inner pouch into the sterile field.	STEP 2 Remove the red cap from the vial.	STEP 3 Inject sterile water or sterile saline into the vial using a needle and syringe.*	STEP 4 Swirl gently and invert to mix thoroughly.
STEP 5 Pull up on the metal ring to remove it, then lift off the rubber stopper.	STEP 6 Withdraw the reconstituted liquid with a needle and syringe.	STEP 7 Dispense the liquid evenly onto the selected scaffold.	STEP 8 Let stand for at least 15 minutes to allow binding of growth factors.

* Syringe, needle, sterile water and/or sterile saline not included in packaging. While we recommend using a syringe and needle for preparation, they are not strictly required.
